As the Halalan 2025 elections approach, many voters are asking:

“When will the COMELEC Precinct Finder be available again?”

If you've tried accessing the tool recently and found it offline — you're not alone. In this post, we’ll walk you through why it’s currently unavailable, when we expect it to return, and what you can do to verify your voter details while waiting.

As of today, April 14, 2025, the Precinct Finder is not yet accessible. However, COMELEC has announced that it will go live approximately two weeks before the May 2025 elections—tentatively starting April 21, 2025. This approach aims to safeguard voter data and reduce the risk of online security threats.

Once activated, the Precinct Finder can be accessed via the official COMELEC website:

🛑 Why Is the COMELEC Precinct Finder Temporarily Unavailable?

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) temporarily disables the Precinct Finder before every election as they prepare and secure the system for nationwide use. This ensures accurate, up-to-date voter information and a safe user experience.

This 2025, COMELEC is prioritizing stronger security and data protection measures, including:

  • 🔐 Enhanced encryption to protect voter data

  • ⚖️ Full compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012

  • 🛡️ Measures to prevent unauthorized access and fake queries

These updates are crucial to maintaining the integrity of the elections and safeguarding every voter’s personal information.

📅 Expected Launch: Based on Past Elections

During the 2022 national elections, the COMELEC Precinct Finder was reactivated on April 22, 2022. Based on that, we estimate it may be available again starting April 20, 2025, onwards.

Please note: This is only an estimate. There is still no official announcement from COMELEC, but we’ll update this page the moment it goes live.

🔒 COMELEC Security Measures for 2025

The delay in launching the Precinct Finder is part of their preventive approach to protect against data breaches, identity fraud, and misinformation — all while ensuring a smoother and safer voting experience for everyone.
